To get started, simply create a free account and choose whether you’re listing a property or looking for one. If you’re a seller, you’ll need an active membership to post your listing. Once subscribed, you can upload photos, video tours, floor plans and full amenity details, then publish your property live on the site. All buyer inquiries go straight to your inbox, and you can chat securely in-app with interested tenants at any time. If you’re a buyer, you don’t need a membership—just sign up, browse listings, send inquiries and message landlords instantly, all at no cost.

No, TimeToRent does not take any commission on bookings. Your membership fee covers your listing, and all selling agreements and payments are handled directly between you and the seller.

When a standard (monthly or annual) membership expires, all of your property listings will be deactivated and hidden from the site. To make your listings live again, you’ll need to renew your membership and reactivate each property. If you’ve purchased the lifetime plan, your membership never expires—so your listings stay active without any renewal required.

First, read their message carefully and note any questions or requests they’ve made about your property. Next, reply promptly—buyers appreciate quick responses. Answer their questions clearly and offer any additional info they might need, like more photos, floor plans or neighborhood details. If they’re still interested, suggest a viewing. Propose a few dates and times, then confirm the appointment once you agree on one. Use our in-app chat to negotiate terms securely: discuss price, move-in dates or any special conditions. Keep all communication on the platform to maintain a clear record. Once you’ve agreed in principle, you can share contact details or arrange for deposits and contracts offline—just be sure both parties understand next steps and timelines.

To remove a listing, log in and go to your My Properties (or Active Listings) dashboard. Find the property you want to remove and click Edit (or the three-dot menu). Toggle its status from Active to Inactive. Your listing will immediately be hidden from public view—no further action required.
